| Yukon, OK – Congressman Frank Lucas (OK-03) will be postponing the following town hall meetings due to his recent injury on his ranch in Roger Mills County: Thursday, August 4th, 2023 Caddo County Town Hall Meeting 10:00-11:00 a.m. Hinton City Hall 115 E Main Street Hinton, OK 73047 Kiowa County Town Hall Meeting 2:00-3:00 p.m. Western Tech Center 1000 S Bailey Street Hobart, OK 73651 Jackson County Town Hall Meeting 4:00-5:00 p.m. Western Oklahoma State College 2801 N Main Street (Band Ball Room) Altus, OK 73521 Friday, August 25th, 2023 Roger Mills County Town Hall Meeting 10:00-11:00 a.m. Washita Battlefield National Historic Site 18555 OK-47 ALT Cheyenne, OK 73628 BACKGROUND: Congressman Lucas was injured while working at his ranch in Roger Mills County. He underwent a successful surgery to repair a break in his hip socket. He is feeling well and is looking forward to a speedy recovery. Frank and his family are in good spirits and are sincerely grateful to the tremendous team of doctors, nurses, and others who took care of him. Congressman Lucas was set to hold town hall meetings in Caddo, Kiowa, Jackson, and Roger Mills Counties. Residents around the locations were invited to attend and share their thoughts on current events in Washington, DC and across Oklahoma. |
