Washington, D.C. – Congressman Frank Lucas (OK-03) released the following statement announcing the promotion of his Legislative Director Alison Slagell to Deputy Chief of Staff:

“Alison has spent the past 5 years serving the people of Oklahoma’s Third District and her leadership in my office has been invaluable, which is why it was apparent Alison should be entrusted with the duties of Deputy Chief of Staff. Growing up in Western Oklahoma, Alison knows firsthand the issues that affect the way of life for millions of Oklahomans. I look forward to her leadership as she fills the void left by her predecessor, Nicole, and welcome her strong voice as she advocates for a better way of life for Oklahoma.”

Previously, Alison Slagell served as Legislative Director overseeing all legislative initiatives while also advising Congressman Frank Lucas on policy positions and the development of policy. Born and raised in Hydro, Oklahoma and graduate of Oklahoma State University, Alison is the proud daughter of Dennis and Candace Slagell, the granddaughter of Ida Slagell of Hydro and niece of Joyce Wyatt of Hydro.
