Oklahoma City, OK – Congressman Frank D. Lucas (OK-03) released the following statement after attending the 30th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony in Oklahoma City.

“Each year we remember the 168 lives lost in a senseless act of terror. For many of us, the wounds of that day still carry a heavy burden. However, we must never forget how the inhumanity of one brought out the collective humanity of countless others as Oklahomans came together to overcome unthinkable tragedy. I am constantly filled with hope every time I’m reminded of the overwhelming sense of community that we witnessed 30 years ago. May this memory help shape a better future for us all.”

Lucas recently joined the rest of the Oklahoma delegation in planting a survivor tree at the United States Capitol.
