Internship Opportunities

Internship applications are now closed for Spring 2020.

The office of Congressman Frank Lucas (OK-05) seeks current college students who are interested in interning in my Washington, D.C. Office throughout the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Applicants should be current college students or recent graduates. Ties to Oklahoma's Third Congressional District are preferred, but not required. Congressional internships offer a unique experience for students interested in learning more about the legislative process and the inner workings of a Congressional office. Intern responsibilities may vary, but include answering phones, researching legislation for the Congressman, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues.

Internships are merit-based, with a heavy emphasis placed on GPA and extracurricular activities.

If you have questions about your application or the internship program, please contact our Scheduler & Director of Operations, Meg Wagner. She can be reached by email at meg.wager@mail.house.gov or by phone at 202-225-5565.
