Congressional Art Competition

In past years, more than 300 congressional offices have participated in the Congressional Art Competition. The first place winning entry from each congressional district will be displayed in the corridor tunnel leading to the U.S. Capitol Building for one year, where it will be seen by thousands of people visiting the nation's capital.

The contest is open to high school students (public, private, or homeschooled) and will be hosted in my Canadian County office. The winning piece will be sent to Washington, D.C. to be displayed for a year, and the winning artist will receive free airfare for two to participate in the Congressional Art Competition’s ribbon-cutting ceremony this summer.

Below are some rules and guidelines, and the release form for submitted artwork. For information on registration and submission locations, contact Allison Litterell in my Canadian County office at (405) 373-1958.
